I am not positive but does commerce and explore XP surive reboots/crashes? And if it does not is there any way this might be implemented?

In other words, if you earn some, and the game crashes, one of two situations will occur:

1) You'll have the XP (immediately or coming next quit), and can't earn it again.

2) You won't have the XP, and can earn it again.

This is exactly how all other experience gains work with crashes.
