#9384, "Suggestion for additions to bartering."
|
The upgrade for pills, potions and other such items was a big help for us Outlander types indeed, but perhaps we could put in the same value for other items as well? This would of course benefit everyone, not just us city burning, tree-huggers.
Drink containers, Like Arak Jewelry, gems, toys.. Did I mention Arak? Poison ingrediants (Not sure if that one is in as I don't have a thief.) Trap (The same) Arak
I'm pressed to think of other items types now, and, of course, I would not suggest it with armours or weapons, but there has to be more that a fair trade can be made for. A 25kgp Items for one container of arak is, well, insane.
Any thoughts?

I'm fine with adding drink containers, although they're not traditionally something people want in large quantities. The initial batch was intended to address items we commonly saw players carrying in quantity. Some players (notably bards) might commonly want large quantities of certain drink containers, however.
The remaining objects you're discussing typically fall under "treasure" and "miscellaneous", and those two categories are pretty broad. For now, they'll probably be sticking with the 1:1 rate.

These were added a little while back at 1:2.

Well, the solution there is to offer something more reasonable for your half of the barter.
