#9301, "How about giving some form of value to healers?"

At least half of my healing is done via barter nowadays, it would be nice to know what I can get for a particular item

It would be nice to know which gear to use for what without guessing, or as you said figuring out the order of prices and working down from there.

Seriously man..is it that hard to walk a few steps?

You can value anything in a shop, and get a rough idea its
value.

You could also just heal, cure disease, refresh, with what you got, and in the future will know it works.

The barter system is what it is, not a price list. It should differentiate what you are trading, to what type of merchant you
are trading it to, how far apart from eachother they are found, etc.

At least.. That's what I 'think' you are asking.

Hey seriously man! I just recalled and have no movement left after being slept, plagued, poxed, blinded, hugged, crimson something, leg bound, and kicked in the groin, repeatedly. Now I want to get some healing done but dang it where do I start my bartering?!? Oh and yeah that recall was NOT to my hometown but to the nearest viable hometown.
So where the heck am I anyway? Arboria to Voralian City is weird.

Both of you have points, you could have went to the shop earlier, but are you going to remember all the values? And more to the point are you going to remember all the healer's charges for healing?

There are probably certain things that you barter for healing way more than any other things.

For example, in Tir Talith, I barter a lot of the armor there for cure serious (the best you can get for the armor), since I rank there and it saves me resting even when mobs are beating me pretty badly.

Also, I tend to carry some cures around with me and crawl into a hole rather than recall, if possible.

If you are that maledicted, and you survived, bartering items
shouldn't be a problem for you.

>Oh and yeah that recall was NOT to my hometown but to the nearest >viable hometown.

Last I knew, you don't recall to Arboria, and if you are, again, "what to barter to cure disease" probably isn't an issue for you.

>Both of you have points

I'm trying to figure out what is yours, be realistic if you want
to add anything to a discussion.

>but are you going to remember all the values? And more to the point >are you going to remember all the healer's charges for healing?

I do. I also can think of about 6 items off of the top of my head
that any newbie in galadon can aquire, and 'heal serious' with.
If your higher than 11, and have trouble bartering items, you need to Explore, and expand your area knowledge. Visit towns, look at guards, consider mobs, etc.

"seriously man" .. No one is going to spell out how to play. A large part of being here at all, is the explore and the learning.
If you can't take the time to figure a few things out on your own,
your in for a very stressful CF career, and more likely to take someone elses word for something, and become just as dissappointed
when that day2 player that took the time to learn a few things, full loots you.

You also are on a computer, and last I checked most computers have this program called Notepad. My first druid, I took the time to record what herbs I find where.. My second druid.. I knew what I wanted, when I wanted, and where to get it. Following me?
