Just a couple places I have always enjoyed
1. Thar-Acacia, ever since my first character years ago that discovered it with an air form, all the way to present days, still exploring that place and learning a ton. I think of it has a deep part of theran history, and a great relic of detailed, and involved exploring, with constant challenge.
2. The past (as a whole)
Where I first learned to survive on my own, outside of getting beat up by Galadon dockworkers and blind dogs. I was very slow on the learning curve for these areas, but they are very well writting I think, and you can really feel yourself passing the stone ramparts, and all the giants, and elves, and the trolls, this place really comes alive through the text.
3. Organia
My first big area-explore that I did a great deal of solo and group exploring/ranking. This place was my little secret get away until it became more known, but even aside you get a certain sense of pride in accomplishing things IC in areas like this.

1. Organia. Great atmosphere. Fun to explore, except for the maziness. Not super deathful, unlike certain other exploration areas.
2. Ktengs. Good atmo, stuff to figure out. I'm positive I've only figured out a fraction of what's there, but then I sort of stopped trying.
3. Jade Vaults. Again, good atmosphere, lots of tricky things.
4. Thar Acacia maybe?
Hell was/is cool, but there's such a high barrier to entry (even disregarding the fact that it now requires staff signoff) that I never really got spend much time admiring it.
Trothon's like that too, to a lesser extent. Damn hard to find, and you're likely to die there unless you have buddies with you.

The Weald is just bloody great. There's story, good gear for several levels and classes, it feels natural in set up, theres interesting secrets, some interesting backstory, and it fits perfectly with the surrounding areas. Go Kasty!
Organia because of originality and more importantly I've always been a junky on backstory, and Organia has backstory in spades.
Never been to Hell/Silent though..... "New payment options w/ Iron Realms"

You have to look at everything in every description to figure out the puzzles and I like that. They are beautifully written.
