#8309, "Hungry critters"

Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elves, and Arials all have pretty low con. Any chance that maybe we'll see something such as they don't have to eat a whole food item, like they can eat some of whole chicken and be full, but be able to eat the rest later? I can see a Giant gobbling down a chicken, but those races don't seem like they'd be able to keep up in a pie eating contest. Anyway, doesn't seem like it'd make them too over-powered, and might fit in better rp-wise.

Some people wake up every day thinking the world is going to make sense. How fun would that be anyway?

If that happens I'm going to makea wood-elf named
Kobiyashi and pray to the immortals to make me the rare
wood-elf that can eat twice as much as any giant.

To all ya'll that have seen the world championship food
eating competitions (had one here in so cal - Santa
Monica a couple years past) you know exactly what I'm
talking about (that little asian guy wins it every time)

Isn't it size-based dnow? I seem to remember that a berry pie would fill up my gnome, while I'd need a couple or more to fill up my cloud giant.

I'd test, but I'm at work.

Consumption would be based more on size then heartiness, it's what is going to determine your stomach size barring any mutations or the like. So small creatures (gnomes, svirfs) would eat the least and large (giants, orc) would eat the most. Humans, elves, arials, felar etc. would eat roughly the same amount. This is all per sitting, metabolism would be the determining factor in frequency of eating. Which is how it's coded now I believe.

I'd like to see arials have a choice when rolling their character of being carnivorous or veggy-lovin'. You know, hummingbird vs. vulture here. Depending on what you choose, you can't eat food of the other type.
