#7969, "why are my Angels are better than my Demons"

I'm an evil conjurer, and I conjure better angels than demons. I've conjured dozens of demons, and 90% of them are "a perfect match." That leaves about 10% for "A few lucky blows would kill him."

I conjure two angels, and I get this both times:
A winged angel shows you its razor-sharp teeth.
A winged angel is about the same size you are.
It smiles at you, hoping you will turn from your evil path.

The perfect match!
A monstrous mors-gravis demon is larger than you.
It grins evilly with you.

I've used both angels and demons for a while now and based on this experience I am saying the difference is night and day. A razor-teeth angel is sick compared to the demons I can get.

(I use 300 mana to conjure)

Why am I getting ####ty demons and kick-ass angels?

What I can figure is...you are evil...therefore the amount of mana to bring in an angel of good power is going to be more than it is to bring in a demon of the same power.

If your bringing in good angels at 300.. Try 250 for a demon. Then try 260...then 270....

I was always tweaking the amount of mana..and you'll find that just a hair of a change makes a world of difference sometimes.

Damn...makes me wanna play another conjie.

When a man makes a beast of himself...he gets rid of the pain of being a man.

The stronger demons are pretty surly fellows, and don't like being at the beck and call of some puke conjurer.

Other than that, try different demon types, maybe some are stronger than others (level wise)

You missed the point. I'm evil and the angels serve me better than the demons. WTF?

Conjuring has a ton of factors. It is a matter of experimenting around with all of them to find out what works for you. That being said, evil conjurers typically need a lot more mana than their good counterparts for a few reasons.

I didn't want to believe that on top of everything else, evil conjurers needed to invest MORE mana. In my opinion that'd be wrong on multiple levels.
