#72290, "devilish imp out of range"
|
Hi. I think maybe there is a bug but not sure, and if it's not, I think it should be changed. The devilish imp of a conjurer that is out of range can still curse people, even though you can't attack it. Shouldn't it either be that neither can affect the other, or that both can? If it can curse me, should I be able to kill it to stop it from cursing me? As it is it can just keep trying over and over until it succeeds, and I can do nothing to it. Seems buggy!

It's always been this way and when I queried it as Masinger I was told it was working as intended.
The other thing that made it useful, back then, was that the order to do it was free of lag on the caster (though not the imp) meaning you could effectively try to curse each time you had a chance to act, and also do whatever command you wanted to do that didn't involve your imp.

Well that just seems doubly silly. Can this be reconsidered and changed?
