#71234, "Dwarf spear spec?"
|
Is this viable, or tantamount to dwarf dagger spec?
Are spin or impale (the two big skills) dexterity dependent?

Dwarves do not normally dodge, and so the dwarf will still tank with his face, but I thought they were tanking better than a dwarf sword.

Alot of the tanky skills in the specs are dex-based, so dwarves just get the short end of the stick, honestly.

Dwarf defenses lie primarily in their massive health pools and wide variety of resistances. They are one of the better races to take Fires of Adversity and Gates of the Forge.
They also make good use of defensive skills like shield block, distance and ironhands which don't require dex.

I have seen several in Battle. Spin seems to be skill-based only.
