Tested this with my lastest ap (which is on the way to autodeletion) and was unable to get anything from it. Now from reading the helpfile*, I was expecting increased damage or some sort of deathblowish strikes coupled with a nastiness toward shield blocking opponents. What I found was that with bloodlust, my npc opponents weren't exactly shield blocking a whole lot, and I'll be damned if I'm going to find a shield spec paladin to test it on. In short, for 100+ mana**, I was really expecting it to be better (read: useful), and while I'm sure there are times when it is, if it isn't readily apparent from the small amount of testing I did, then it isn't really that useful.

*: Specifically this line "an anti-paladin may strike crushing blows of great force."
**: The 100 for enervating spirits + aura of despair (and all the drawbacks that go with it.)
