Current Output (while not blind):
People near you: (PK) Marner The Arched Gates of the Great Academy
Desired new Output (while not blind):
People near you in 'NAME OF AREA': (PK) Marner The Arched Gates of the Great Academy
So in this case, 'The Academy'
I don't know if most modern clients/shells/whatever will do html links, but I suspect they could. I might suggest having a link to the wiki map of the area, but I'm not sure if that will work for sure or not.
I believe there is already code to do this attached to an item, so presumably a low coder work change.

Implementation-wise, there is no rock-solid html link mud protocol spec. They'd have to write code to work on top of telnet negotiations and negotiate something like MXP which is pretty ####ing #### to begin with, and a nightmare to implement correctly.
I agree with Isildur's points too.

Disperse is an active spell. I had it used on me several times in Galadon.

>Don't like this. Makes it trivial to find out where you are >if you teleport into a room you don't recognize.
Ok. How many rooms does it usually take you to determine what area you are in? How useful did you find sight of the damned? Why doesn't Clairvoyance give Room Name... ever? (not 100% sure on that one)... Because the reality is, for a veteran, a single room name is, in the vast majority of cases, enough for you to know what area you are in. This change isn't meant to benefit a veteran player. You don't need it. You already know what are you are in.
>Not to mention birds, which can see people in multiple areas >at the same time.
The bird's area is "The Skies Above Thera", or "The Skies Above the Past" or whatever, so non-issue. It doesn't report the other people's area, just your own, so even with eyes of the eagle you don't get to see where they are.

The only time Emelin shines if when someone is trying to sneak up the boards on him and he has enough time to line up that monstrous hipcheck, I'll never hate him because of that alone.

2nd, good luck scoring goals after Max gets hurt.
C) We've been able to win with half the D on the IR already. Letang is the most important player on the Pens, and ####ing Schultz is a somehow performing as a poor man's Letang.
Oh, you're also losing to Ottawa or Toronto or the NOSE (may actually win MVP...no joke). And we might not beat Washington (spoiler: Ah who is joking we will and we'll probably lose to the Leafs in the Conference Finals somehow and then Calgary will sweep them).
