#6670, "Rangers: Creep: Mob Fights."
|
How about allowing rangers to creep right after mob fights, Instead of having to wait around 2/3/4 ticks to be able to creep again. Assassins\Thieves can sneak right after mob fight.
It seems only logical that if your calm enough to sneak around unnoticed on an open road then you should be able to do the same thing with creep.
I fail to see this as Overpowered(tm), but if by chance the imm staff does you can simply give creep a bit of movment lag directly after mob fight.
--- Thanks in advance for any and all consideration.

Rangers don't need to be able to creep directly after fighting and I do think it would make ranger significally stronger.

assassins can't hide just after a pk fight. Should we take camo away from rangers just after a pk fight too?
Classes are different.
Thieves and assassins have different hide timers in pk. it's just part of the class.
Not that I'm saying your request isn't a fair one. Just the argument seems weak.

And to use your logic that classes are different against you, I would point out the following.
He's talking about Creep not hide. Creep is a form of sneaking not hiding. Even if he could Creep after a Mob he would still be different from a thief.
Thief after MOB = Hide & Sneak Thief after PK = Hide & Sneak
Assassisn after Mob = Hide & Sneak or Just hide in certain woodlands with hide and sneak in others wilder areas. Assassin after PK = Sneak
Ranger after Mob = Camo Woodlands only Ranger after PK = Camo Woodlands only
Even with creep after a MOB a ranger would be different.
Personally I think this should go on the Christmas list and I don't think their needs to be any lag on it. Even Still having a ranger revert back to Pre-fastcreep while his breathing is heavy seems reasonable to me.
It was a good argument.

from just being able to creep and re-ambush a Mob while ranking without it being able to see you is huge. Rangers have a big damage attack they can do to anyone at any time unlike all thieves and assassins. The classes are different and are given things for certain reasons, one of them is game balance.

1 tick timer on ambush. Meaning I can flee. Camo.. wait mob.. Ambush.. This is Exactly the same as creeping back..waiting a tick then ambushing.

I know camo is a form of sneak. How can you argue that they should get a superior form of sneak just because assassins and thieves have it though, if you are not willing to have the same argument applied to camo causing it to be toned down?
Just because another class or classes can do something is no reason at all to let a third class do it.
