#6633, "Well, I must protest..."
|
After a fight today I am left wondering...
Why does death from things like bleeding cause exp lose?
My prime example is I'm fighting a shapeshifter and die due to a bleeding malediction(sp). The only thing that bothered me was I lost exp as if I'd died to a npc instead of a PK, which as far as I'm concerned I did.
I can understand the exp lose if it were a npc that gave me the bleeding, but since I'd had no exp lose had I died to the shifter himself instead of the bleeding he cause, what is the point of it?
Just wondering. Thanks. "Do not merely practice Art, but penetrate to the very heart of it. For only Art and Science elevate man to the Godhead." Ludwig Van Beethoven

You might want to save a log next time so we can better figure out what the story is. Bleeding caused by players generally functions as a PK death.

It'd been a while since I was last out so I may be wrong. I'll try to save something in the future.

I checked an old log I had from before it all happened and I still had the same "tnl" as I did after I died.
It'd been a while since I was out so I guess I'd forgotten whatever happened to me before.
Thanks again for the help. "Do not merely practice Art, but penetrate to the very heart of it. For only Art and Science elevate man to the Godhead." Ludwig Van Beethoven
