I see that new topics are avaliable, then when I open the subforum there aren't any.

In fact, none of the subforums (not even the bug board) show any current topics for me, instead some old stuff from 2003-2006 is at the top.

Sometimes your settings/cookie gets jacked and you have to "fix" your topic sorting by clicking on one of the column headings (e.g., "Last updated date").

I don't know why, and if it weren't for all the hacky ass PBF code we'd have abandoned this craptastic forum software ages ago for something better.

It adds another layer of hackiness but what about leaving the old forum up for PBF purposes and not actually using it otherwise? Like using another forum instead and just load any new pbf entries into a db for the new pbf viewer?

I've never known Gabe's pbf mirror to malfunction.
