How much of a stickler is Verathi for followers to be of the Battle dogma? Are mages feasible? I am sure it would be a challenge but I am more curious if you'll be laughed out of the shrine if not given an outright slay.

Without revealing too much, it is possible to follow the Verathi religion as a mage. It would just be far harder than normal.

I enjoyed following Verathi - it was a bit more difficult than other IMM's I've followed. His expectations tend to be quite high.
IC he also hates mages - in the most sinister way. I'd probably not recommend trying to follow Verathi/Ysalorye(sp) as a mage. If you insist on following a rager IMM as a mage Jormyr is probably your best bet...but he's MIA for a while.
