#59703, "About mace and strength..."
|
Sorry I missed the conversation back then..... But I was away when the change went in. Devry said that cranial and bones hatter got worse for low stress races...and better for high street races.....
I guess...I just would like more specifics...3 specially about cranial....it is a very important skill, and I've seen it nerfed twice.. (taking away ability to perma lag...then lessening it's use against helmets)
See...half elves and dwarves have the same str....
But the culturally accepted view in Cf is that dwarves are all about that hamme...being forgey and all...while half elves are seen as a weaker race....
For that matter, humans, duergar, and minos all have 23 str....
I could see humans being the baseline for average cranial and boneshatter.... but it's always been wierd to me that minos, being giant sized bulls, aren't stronger than humans, or duergar.... so this would mean the bonus only applies to giants...
Does this mean that dwarves are now objectively worse at hammering than humans.....and duergar? I can see arials and elves and felar getting a nerf...but did dwarves get a hammer nerf too?

I could live with dwarves being worse at cranial. I mean, when you are 4 feet tall, it's bound to be a little harder to hit a human over the head.
Boneshatter, though, would be nice to let dwarves have a racial bonus in.
