#59655, "Another orc village question"
|
Anyone else find it strange that someone cannot retrieve when unopposed because of summoning 10 orcs to the gate guards.
Not to mention tremblefist is harder than all other retrieval guardians.
Again just asking for the otherside.
Thanks

1. Some people can just walk past all the orcs.
2. Only one retrieval has to succeed for all the items to be returned.
3. If the orcs hold all the items, they are quite likely to be trying to hold off multiple groups of retrievers.
4. Orcs don't benefit from cabal powers. Or a cabal healer (since their healer just does what it feels like). So the fact that their "outer" is tougher isn't necessarily unreasonable.
5. One of the reasons I give items to orcs, when not playing orcs, is to stop heroes sitting on their risk free butts sending lowbies to retrieve. I'm glad there's an option for tackling cowardice.

Pretty ironic that orcs are the cure for cowardice!

They start cowering from evils at a fairly low level, they will always aggro neutrals and goods

Orc reraid is a rare situation where several cabals can join up for reraid against team evil - it's great actually.

Flat out Orc village/clan is different than other cabals.
As far as summoning you need an Orc ally with summon. 98% of those classes tend to be cabaled at hero. Sucks when they work together but the reality is that it is a very rare situation.
