I am fairly new to the class, and so I guess I have a fresh perspective which caused me to notice some strange incongruities in its abilities. I am wondering why conjurers are not given the "pugil" skill, seeing as how if they use a staff over a one-handed weapon + a shield they lose shield blocking and using wands becomes more difficult. It seems like a more-than-fair trade-off. Some people might just have it in their heads that wizards should use staffs...I know I do. I'd like to be at least a little bit effective with them.
Next, my familiar, which is not a mythical creature, could not see in the dark, nor could it use the "crawl" command, which seems really odd. Given the limitations that familiars have been given for the sake of game balance (not being able to do a normal "where", being ridiculously vulnerable and very painful to the caster if killed, etc.), could they at least be allowed to have these two abilities, which seem very logical and rather harmless in the grand scheme of things?
If anyone else has some "common sense" things to add about conjurers, feel free to toss them up here, but please try to avoid mentioning things that have been covered in the past. I uh, hope, for that matter, that what I brought up hasn't been posted before.
