#5946, "How much is CF worth?"
|
Say I hit the lottery, or hell...somehow earned a #### load of money and decided I wanted to spend it on trivial things. How much would it cost to buy CF and all of its copyrights? Could I donate 100k and be given a rank 53 Immortal to have my life long ambition to be a GOD and organize my own religion? Could I put the IMP's on my payroll? Or is there another means of coaxing my way into owning CF?
Thoughts, Comments and Concerns?

Whatever the market dictates. But I suspect you're asking what it's worth to the owner, which is a question only he or she can answer.
If it were me, I'd probably hold out for five grand.

As I recall, cf does not have an owener as you describe, they took corporate status. There are many different forms of business organizations, but the general rule is that the directors must do what is in the best interests of the company. If (making the usual caveats) an offer came that a reasonable person, using reasonable business judgment, would accept, then they must or they can be held liable, absent an acceptable reason to reject the offer. The fights come over what might be an acceptable reason, and what good business judgment would or would not agree is a good offer. Have fun trying.
