#58350, "Human and half bloods."

Is it possible to let human and halfies select their stats for classes other than warriors and rangers?

I think there should have been a reason, why you have just opened it for warrior/ranger.
But it might be funny to see builds like dex or int APs, dex mutters, con or dex shamans or even charismatic champions!

I'm not currently convinced this is a good idea.

I for sure am one to play some such chars.

In most cases they seem underpowered. But there are situations that can make them OP than their current status. Is your idea driven by such things? I think it can make human/half-blood races more unpredictable, as you don't know what their benefit is.

Just to make one example, I will gladly play a dexterous champion.

I know you took my edge idea and implemented that (thanks again!), but has there ever been a relatively decent halfie AP?

I just feel Human is better 99.9% of the time if you plan on going Halfie AP.

Heroed and made Dreadlord. Not my best A-P but the best I had played at the time. I think he's the only half-elf A-P on record and there have been some half-drow who never heroed.

I was using a spear of course and while losing the point of strength should have been hurting my melee gaining a point of dex may or may not have been helping it and for the most part it didn't seem like my melee was any worse. Gaining a point of int and wis should apparently aid in overcoming people's saves and I think opens up a couple of edges. Not wearing iron was mildly annoying, but I got round it and mithril would probably be easier to work around.

Actually the biggest reason I usually pick human over halfie is not having to come up with an interspecies romance storyline if I want to write a role.
