#58213, "One character per player?"
|
There is a big thread on QHCF about people who character hop between alts depending on the current mud population at any given time.
Is limiting each player to one character something on the staff radar? Do you guys feel that people hopping between alts is a big problem for the balance of cabalwars?

One *caballed* character per player. Any more than that and you have conflicts of interest.
Wouldn't have to be rigorously enforced, would just need to catch two or three people and make examples of them.

It would be good if it could be enforced. But how so you stop people from going around whatever you put in place? Only way I can think of is by charging their bank account and them refunding the charge. Then tracking accounts but somehow without putting those details at risk!
Anything else could be avoided.
It would be good though not only to stop selective logging, but to stop someone holding high level gear until their alt is strong enough to collect it from the mobs.
