#57380, "Battaglia not working on certain PCs"
|
Can somebody explain this to me please?
One: A vulture dodges your pound. A vulture's peck is unable to penetrate a black-red dragonscale helm. You parry a vulture's peck. A vulture has a few scratches.
<97%hp 94%m 57%mv tipsy> sing batt You sing 'Axes high and hammer raised Our battle marches on! Voices roar and banners blaze Our battle marches on!'
The epic battaglia inspires a ferocity in your spirit. A moment of awed silence praises your song. Your abilities at singing battaglia have improved (93%). A vulture has a few scratches.
Two: A silverback gorilla dodges your pound. Your pound wounds a silverback gorilla. You parry a silverback gorilla's punch. A silverback gorilla's punch MUTILATES you! A silverback gorilla's punch MUTILATES you! A silverback gorilla's punch MUTILATES you! A silverback gorilla has a few scratches.
<74%hp 100%m 99%mv tipsy> You slowly float to the ground. A silverback gorilla has a few scratches.
<75%hp 100%m 100%mv tipsy> You sing 'Axes high and hammer raised Our battle marches on! Voices roar and banners blaze Our battle marches on!'
The epic battaglia inspires a ferocity in your spirit. A silverback gorilla swings a giant fist at you. A silverback gorilla's punch smashes you squarely in the face! A silverback gorilla's punch DISMEMBERS you! A silverback gorilla has a few scratches.
Why is he unaffected by the battaglia?

Not sure what these guys are packing, possibly frenzy or some shifter skill.

There are a few affects that prevent the affect of Battaglia. This applies to both friends and enemies, so you could take an ally and work it out if you like without having to use the song offensively.

frenzy, berserk, calm, and some other things fall under the same category of affect as battaglia and make you immune to further affects.

not all "rage" effects are incompatible with battaglia. If a simple frenzy blocked it out (it doesn't) then just about anyone could make themselves immune to it.
And he certainly doesn't have berserk or calm.
My best guess is chestbeat?

something you think is true in your post is actually not true. Experiment in game to find out which.
