Also with Fortress having Marans now... will followers of yours still be marans if they are outside the fortress? How would that work?

Unsure about the first one, I'll get the ole religion up and running again sometime soonish. As for the Fortress, it is as it always was...ie: MARAN != Maran.

That is to say, that someone who is a part of the MARAN side of the Fortress needs not be a Maran (a follower of Shokai), contrarywise a follower of Shokai (Maran) need not be a part of the MARAN side of the fortress. The difference is subtle, but goes a little like this:

Maran follow their path according to the 'way of Shokai' no matter where it takes them. MARAN follow the marching orders set by Shokai's way that lead to the building of the Fortress. That make sense?
