Would you be so kind as to shine a little light on barkskin?
Is it akin to stoneskin? flat dmg reduction?
Does it provide any DR?
Is it only AC?
Thank you!

Barkskin is AC, and can act as (bad) armor for armor deflection purposes in unarmored slots. Also: barkskin edges. I believe that's it.

I had 'assumed' this, but then reminded myself when it comes to this game...assumptions are bad.
Edit: What do you mean when you say "Act as 'bad' armor" Isn't all armor...good?

For purposes of armor deflection, your armor AC values are relevant, more AC being harder to bypass. Barkskin, when you have to fall back to it, works like armor that doesn't have very high AC.

I think a lot of spells like this (bark/ironskin, sheen of stone) provide a chance for armour deflection on each slot that isn't armour
