#50805, "Minotaur vulnerabilities and gear slots."

Are Minotaurs defacto vulnerable to any or all of the following because they can't wear helmets? If so which? If not are they in fact resistant to any of these because of the structure of their bovine heads?

Cranial
Headbutt
Weaponbutt Blackjack
Blackjack

Can Minotaurs get a Tail slot for gear? They do have tails if IIRC.

Can Minotaurs get a Nose slot that would allow them to wear nose rings (Not finger rings).

Can Minotaur leg wear be the same as that worn by Centaur on their rear legs rather than humanoid leg wear?

I realize minotaur waists and centaur wastes aren't the same, but they don't seem to be humanoid either. Could the Minotaur waist slot be changed to accommodate centaur belts instead? (Stretching here: Or both?)

IIRC, herd bulls have nose rings so that you can control them. The nose is very sensitive so when you pull that ring, the bull has to follow you to avoid the pain.

It doesn't make sense for minotaurs to have those, unless they are someone's slaves.

And it's a visual thing. Just like the Mobs that wear them now.

It makes perfect sense. At least as much sense as earrings and given they can't wear anything on their faces now I was throwing an idea out there.

I never thought about it, but you're right -- cranial for sure is a danger without a helmet. I don't think either blackjack skill actually cares.

Thick Skull. Maybe after a certain level? Maybe just some similar inherent skill?

Just seems like they should be rather hard headed.

I always thought the idea of hitting something with horns in the head with a mace was dumb

But yeah, I'd imagine cranial ####s a minotaur over pretty hard.
