There are only four associated helps with this edge... Does this help against Dirt kicking and Eye Jab too? What does it defend against?

For those see SHIELD EYES.

Dunno what else. But I'm curious if COVER UP still works when charisma has been dropped below the edge's initial requirement..?

I think daev answered a similar question not long ago about edges that have stat requirements. Once you have an edge that has stat requirements, the edge works always, no matter your current stat unless it's stated in the helpfile that it ceases to do so if the stat drops. Here's the link.

That's not the case with cover up far as the helpfile says.
