ITEM LORE
Those wise in item lore may learn the properties of items more easily and with less effort.
SEE ALSO: EDGES, LORE, INSPECT GOODS
- Effects: 1) 33% mana use reduction for Lore & Inspect goods 2) +10% effective skill in Lore & Inspect goods (e.g. if your lore was at 81%, you would see the results as if your lore was at 91%)
- Prereq: lore at 75% (actually this number could easily be even lower, so that also the dumber races could pick it with just 2 pracs)
- Edge cost: cheap

I like this. The only thing I'd change is instead of increasing the skill value by x%, I'd have it decrease the variance off your lore output.
I.e: If the AC of an item is 10, you might get anywhere from 5 to 15 as lore output. With the edge, you'd get something like 8-12 more often.
Sidenote: Even the dumb races have an easy time maxing lore, as it improves via observation.
