#50300, "Can not connect. "

Hey
I just moved to a different country. Tried to Connect as I need my fix of cf but alas no Luck. Its probably the router that is wonky since I can not Connect on the playlink on either this computer or another via the playlink. Get Security error. Does this for you computer savvy folks sound like a port problem or something else?
If I can not get it fixed, is there anyway to get a character freezed, will move back in a month or so.
Cheers
Edit I should add I've tried for a week or so to Connect, so not related to the latest problems With connecting.

This might be a firewall/port-blocking issue like you said. I can normally connect with the link, but if I block port 4449 on my router, I get a security error.

It tries to Connect and I get a Security error. With zmud it just does not Connect at all. Tries for a little bit then countdown to NeXT attempt.

I can imagine a few things:
With zmud changing the connection IP can be tricky with the newer versions. Make sure the address is actually saving: you might be literally connecting to the old address thinking you are connecting to the new address.
