Is this edge available to any repertoire?

Bard PBFs have only included preferred reps since about 2010 and I haven't been able to find a bard with this edge that hasn't been tragic preferred.

Of course, that doesn't say much because of the short time period, popularity of tragic preferred and the fact that this edge matches up well with this rep.

Anyone care to answer?

Discuss the prereqs with the guildmaster and it should come up, but I haven't even tried to take it since playing Allysia.

That said, it is ridiculously expensive to take that edge, so I'm not all that sure it's a good use of the points. And since tragic already has the best fiending ability, it's probably actually not a good edge for tragic reps compared to some alternatives they could get for the cost. The only edge I think might be more expensive for bards might be Daunting Presence, which I was never able to take with any bard I've played.

The reps I believe all have 1 repertoire specific edge.
Romantic - Serenade.
Tragic - Daunting dirgesinger I believe is the one for tragic, unless it is depths of depression. I forget in all honesty.
Epic - Warsinger
Comedic - Killing joke.

Thanks for the info. I knew it was expensive. I've discussed the prereqs and am fairly certain I've met them. The prereqs are level 50, grand nocturne skill and charisma. Being you had it on a wood-elf I have to imagine I've met the charisma requirement. The only question mark might be grand nocturne skill. Do you recall what % your grand nocturne was when you selected the edge? Is it possible this song needs to be perfected?

And it is depths of depression that's tragic only. Daunting dirgesinger can be selected by all as far as I know.

I don't recall ever having to perfect a song for the related edge to become available, and it is hard for me to know when I took the edge and where the % was on Allysia. I'll check my old logs of her and see if I can tell if I had it before perfection though. Usually it is 90/91% for a song.

That's what it was for distortion opportunist & echoes and nocturne of fright and the nocturne of dread edge, since I remember spamming those to make the edges available.

There may be prereqs not listed keep in mind, I wouldn't be surprised if nocturne of fright needed a % as well for frightful fiend to become available.
