My goals for the tournament were simple:
1) Don't let the Evil (Arratok) win or even come close (Maran) 2) Don't kill any of the Light or even strike them at all costs (Baer religion kinda does that) 3) Don't needlessly suicide and see what happens
So as the first priority, I protected myself, went and found Arratok, backstabbed and took him to about half-health, fleeing at 100hp or so. The rest finished him, but my first goal was achieved.
Then there were the trib gang with two goodies and Ekaerok/Mylene. At some point the latter offered to join up, but I can't strike the goodies, so I didn't. In the meantime, the tribs could see me, so I ran around hidden, then Whiy faeried me and sent dragons. Somehow the tribs were all down except for Hilamar, who I had next to no chance of killing and Ekaerok/Mylene.
At this point am trying hard to outrun the various mobs and sleep to heal since I can't really engage Ekaerok/Mylene at half-health. I manage to rest up and then the next gang of mobs is after me. I don't want to engage Hilamar and eventually Ekaerok/Mylene find and kill him.
So I'm not at full health and offer Ekaerok to engage Mylene, of course he refuses, and then the necro gang hits me, and I escape at less than half-health. So I yell I'll fight them when ready to maybe give a hint to Whiy to back off with the mobs, hide and go to sleep. I'm probably asleep for a tick or less (I previously moved between ticks) when they find and faerie fire me, proceeding to cranial and disrupt to death in about two rounds, my flee didn't go through.
In between some bouts happen, but nothing much of interest.
I had a good plan to engage and kill them both, but alas, that wasn't meant to be. (If you're curious, it involved black hammer of deafen, blackjacking Eka, and fighting Mylene, hopefully deafening her and surprising her and hopefully she won't have time/awareness to wake Eka before deafen). Eka I think I could handle fully protected and rested. Blackjack/backstab kinda gives an advantage there. Of course, a lot had to go my way, but with protections and no mobs at my back I'd have time to implement that.
Most of the time I was hiding was because I either didn't want to engage the goodies or because I was slowed (tip Mylene in one of the bouts).
So my suggestion would be to only send the mobs (maybe a Whiy-enlivened sentient dragon) only when people are fully rested with no negative spells on them and are clearly twiddling their thumbs. Feel free to goto/kick my ass when that happens, but I felt a bit slighted that I didn't have a chance to implement my plan, or at least try due to the mobs kicking my butt all the time, with Whiy faerie fire on top. It's not like a thief wins against hasted warrior/trannie combo straight up.
Oh and by the way, there was no alliance I could form. I secretly hoped for at least one other fortie to step up, but alas. The main reason I participated IC is to fulfill goal #1 - don't let Evil win. It's not aimed specifically at Arratok, there could conceivably have been wights and whatnot also at the tourney. I think my backstab on Arratok was the first hit of the tourney.

Mylene - I was a little confused why I was slow. Overall I think that transmuters are far meaner than most people think. I was disappointed to lose, but not upset either. I also fled from the tribunal squad very hurt at the beginning, so in some ways I was just happy to not be the first eliminated.
Logs - I am fine with logs being posted, though I was very clipped in speech during the contest (very focused on living) so I wouldn't mind some of my speech being edited out.
Mylene's Idea #1 - For the final two in a tournament like this, hold back on the mobs for a bit to let them rest up and engage. This may have been happening as the necromancer came in right as Spiorra perished. * I agree.
Mylene's Idea #2 - Ekaerok broke group faster than I could and I can only think it is because he was worried about me sending him home. Which in all honesty I didn't think of and wouldn't have done. (Now if I was an Imperial or Scion, who knows, hah!) I would change the rules to if someone sent a person home that they were grouped with, that they are disqualified, but I'm not sure how easy that would be to track. *I agree.
Camouflage/Hiding/Duo Dimension - There needs to be rules about these. Mylene was very classy in how she handled having the power as she could have stayed in duo and let everyone die off until the end. The fact is that I do not think I could have ever beaten her unless she refused to flee, as I was not likely to permalag her and if she even got in one flee attempt she could duo and heal and come back with full protections. (Side note: did/can a mob attack anyone in duo?) I may be fully healthy as well, but she can carry around far more protections than I can. I am not sure what the best solution is, but a start is to keep track of everyone who is avoiding the fighting and if it happens for too long (5 mins?) faerie fire them. If it continues, blackjack them.
Location - The locations was interesting, but I find it very annoying that we can't give rangers a chance at this tournament at all. I know it is somewhat self-serving to me with chameleon and beast call, but I could not even have the fetish for the tournament. I would guess the worry is that it will swing the tournament strongly into the favor of the rangers, but it is possible to find an area that has compromise to it. I know it does not have the flair or aggressive mobs that have been favored in the last tournament, but a simple area like Azreth Forest provides areas for rangers (forest) and areas for most non-rangers (water, of course water rangers being the odd exception). This even adds flair for getting away from races with hydrophobia. I am sure there are better areas that combine both wilderness and civilization.
Disqualification - I find it incredibly lame that someone can word out of a tournament to the death and face no consequences beyond not winning. Do not enter if you are not willing to die. If you do leave the area I think you should be slayed on the spot.
Overall - I look forward to the next tournament and will likely try to enter. As much as I would like to see changes, that says a lot about what I think of it.

How about posting some logs? I'm trying to go through and get the useful bits but I wanted to ask here before posting many of them.
1) If anyone of the participants or Imms doesn't wish the logs to be posted I will respect their wish and wait till after they are gone. Please PM or post if this is the case.
2) Ekaerok, I already posted how I didn't see you as blinded and after looking at it again you were slowed as well. I made sure to only cast spells that were asked for upon you. I wanted our fight to be balanced as much as possible and I apologize for that. I would have cancelled you and let us both rest up before beginning.

3) While reviewing the logs, I see that Jode's elemental attacked some of the Imms. They all fled instantly, but not knowing conjurors well at all could that have upset his angel to attack him.
Idea #3 Figure out a way to protect Imms during these.
4) Also while going through the logs for the folks on the other board, I went into duo 8 times from when I got to the Chess Board, one was to make sure Arratok didn't smoke me at the beginning, and one was to get past a dragon. The rest of the times I was resting up as Spiorra could have been very mean and steal all of my protections. I knew this wasn't about hiding to the end, and I think that actually hurt the Tribunals because Junrae was in duo and missed some spells which probably would have killed one of us the first encounter with the Tribs.
5) I also got very lucky with finding Spiorra, 35 faerie fogs is what I counted during the tournament.
6) Excellent choice on location for the tournament, I think it hurt the outlanders not being able to call beasts and chameleon, but the dragons, the smoke, the burning to get people out of hiding worked wonderfully.
If there are any questions, please ask. I thank you Whiysdan for setting this up, all of the Immortals for helping out and I wanted you know I appreciated you giving us to have this experience. Also Ekaerok I'm sorry again for what was stated up above and that isn't how I wanted it to end. I had either you or Urgraj winning this in my mind.
