#48352, "Does gear that gives +% physical regen stack?"

Do they stack directly? Or is there a dimnishing returns?

Say, if I have 3 pieces of gear giving me: +25% +20% and +20% does that add up to a 65% regend or is it dimnished somehow?

Always shoot first and then call whatever you hit the target.

..."For example 20 points = 20% resistance, 50 points = 40% resistance, and 70 points = 50% resistance. "

So, to answer, probably a bit of diminishing returns, but it will still help.

He said regen, not resistance.

Based on my experiences with stacking regen, I believe %regen bonuses are additive, and resting/sleeping/slowed is multiplicative.

Somebody correct me if I have this wrong.

Yes, Zulg used that line for resistances.

You really think he'd overhaul this whole system and then have a completely different system for regen? Zulg's not an idiot (or a ####, as Wil so rightly says) so I'd have to believe he set up the regen (or NONregen) systems the same way he set up the resist/vuln system.

He can correct me if I assumed wrongly. But I think I'm right. Or write. One of the two.

I'd be surprised if that is even in the same part of the code.

That should be in a completely different part of the mud..

So no, I don't think that its safe to say that they act the same at all.

As he said nothing else is changed with the system as it relates to other things, leading me to believe that you can stack +regen items with no diminishing returns.

This is correct.
