First of all, does it make more sense to go by age (years) or hours to get a sense of how long you might have until age death?

Secondly, what can be expected for the shorter lived races when one is not wearing +age gear? What's the average years or hours for age death?

Are there other factors that come into play that could extend the short lives of a felar or arial a bit longer?

I've not seen any -age gear out there. Do they exist? If not, it would be a cool addition to have a few pieces like a mask of youth or something along those lines. I could imagine a cool quest for something like that.

... It is the years that matters. A human can age-die from 85 years (Aprox) to 100+(?) years. But an arial between say 55-65?

If you are a leader, you age slower, and from my experience, you tend to live to the higher end of number of years instead of the lower one.

Leaders live A LOT longer than normal chars.

Always shoot first and then call whatever you hit the target.

Would the legacy Renewal of Spring help with age? Or is it only constitution?

... I'm certain Daevryn has mentioned it in these forums a few times. As it has been asked.

Always shoot first and then call whatever you hit the target.

Age : old, 101 years old (712 hours)

That's quite a bit for a human. Though she was leader from around 250ish hours I think. Longest lived human in the history of PBFs. (The one that comes in top is an avatar.)

Always shoot first and then call whatever you hit the target.

Age death is determined by years, you get a certain max age at char generation and once you hit that through whatever means, you die. Wither may lower your max age. Off the top of my head, felar live about 100 years (they're hardly short-lived), humans 90ish, arials 60ish.

Without age gear in play the amount of hours isn't too different between the races, it's probably around 400-600.

There are -age items. The shorter the race lives in years, the easier it is to prolong their life with -age gear since each year counts for more hours (pity you'll probably agedie on the next tick if you ever remove them or die).

Of course all this should be taken with a grain of salt, I'm not an imm, but according to my experiences these seem about right.

There is -age gear out there. Of course, once you're over your allotted number of years the first time you die (meaning you're no longer wearing the gear) you'll also age die.
