Just a quick note for anyone I've been interacting with in-game in some fashion, so you don't think you've been abandoned: hold tight for now, as middle of next week my time will free up again.

I apologize to folks waiting on me for things. Time for research and analysis has been pretty demanding--and will be through the end of the year.

BUT, on the Goblin front: we've been able to do some playtesting of the basic functionality, Zulghinlour heroically added some code for mounting/dismounting wargs, etc., and we're getting much closer to completion.

On the non-Goblin front (and this is purposefully vague): there is some quest coding that presented itself as a prime opportunity to experiment with generic USE code for different item types, which I have wanted to see for a long time. (For example, if you wanted to burn away thick spiderwebs in a tunnel, you should be able to do that with ANY open-flame item and not just a specific torch.) We still have a ways to go on that, but that's something I'd like to develop more next year.

So, the long and the short of it is this: I'm still playing catch-up a bit, but we should see some fun new things relatively soon.

AND knowing that witch doctors/alchemists might be a thing sometime makes me wish that those things, and the shaman revamp, would be put front and center on the burner...
