#45433, "Question for Whiysdan"
|
Since you don't seem to have your own forum ...
I'm kinda stuck figuring out what you're looking for in a follower. Generally speaking it's a very free religion where many ideas are possible. Yay, me likey.
But! ... I have a problem with a core part, namely the number 13. It seems to me that, whatever you do, Thirteen has to be at it's center somehow. And, there lies the problem: how can you stay original with that, without having to incorporate really outlandish ideas. I mean, being the 13th sibling, born on the 13th day of the 13th month, likely isn't very original.
I'm struggling with wrapping my mind around this 'restricted freedom' thing and make something fun out of it.
Any hints?

Yeah, something like the 13th sibling, born on the 13th day, etc gets old. I am, however, really pleased with all of the different ways that people think of to make the number 13 come up in their roles in more subtle ways. How it comes up is something that each follower figures out for themselves. It doesn't have to be something that is a glaring part of the role or anything like that. It is just something that they see from time to time and think to themselves, "huh, that's lucky, Whiysdan is watching over me and with me."
While it *can* be over the top 13 inspired, I more so enjoy the subtle ways that people work an understanding/realization of the lucky number into their role.
Hope that helps.
