#4497, "Wholescale Wars Between Whole Cities/Provinces/Races?"

I have always wondered if CF would ever allow really large upscale wars between masses of players from all levels? Possibly set up a particular time frame and scenario in which all players could participate.

1. Possibly having players who would wish to participate in this mass bloodletting leave a note to certain players designated to keep track of those who would want to join in. Although certain guidelines must be met of course, like level restrictions or total gameplay time on a char. And have certain slots for different war jobs like a certain number of warriors, magi, and healers, and etc.

2. Then maybe set up a particular time and date when all those who submitted must be logged on to prepare for the war. And separate those who want to fight onto opposing sides either randomly or have them choose sides.

3. Then set up a temporary area for the bloodletting. Not too large, perhaps a 40 x 40 room or smaller where both sides must fight till last man dies.

4. The dead are transported out like they died regularly.(Or you could have it as if only the losing side is transported out) And to the victor go the spoils perhaps.

Just an intriguing thought I pondered, and is there anyone else out there who would like to agree?

One of the fundamental aspects of a roleplaying game is that the characters should act like themselves. Coordinating logins, picking teams like a playground basketball game, adding a 40x40 grid o' rooms.... not something I'm remotely interested in seeing.

I vote to replace any and all references to the words "PK" and "Player-Killing" with "Frags".
