#4479, "Galadon thieves guild."

I seen on the bug board that You need to be living in galadon to be able to wear the rings. I was just wondering why this is. If a thief cannot pick galadon as his hometown or it's full at the time why does that make them uneligable to use the rings?

I'd much prefer to see warring thief guilds than one guild, Galadon, with all the thieves in it living happily with honor and joy betwixt them.
If I were IMP for a day only those thieves with Galadon as their hometown would be able to be in the Galadon guild. If I were IMP for two days only those that dedicate themselves to the "stealing path" more fully than the others would be able to be in the Galadon guild.
But then, were I IMP for a day you people would probably whine more than you do now...so yeah.

Back when I was playing Gastaad I thought it would be cool if your choices of guild was limited to one and each guild sold a variety of interesting and useful items that only that specific guild could use (axe the rings only being useable by the same hometown thing) Joining that guild of course wouldn't limit you to what thief path you took. I for one think it would be very interesting to see thief battles between Galadon, Hamsah, RC, and Dagdan taking place. (and of course the other guilds would be free of charge for entry since there are always a few who want to fly solo)
