#43618, "No lag on missed bash?"

Just read this on dios and I'm curious if this is intended or something wrong in the state of thera.

<796h 352m 692v 24095tnl 1 AM full indoor civilized none fighting>
You are unable to find an opening to savage Atracius's face with your teeth!
You fall flat on your face!
Your bash misses Atracius.
Atracius parries your surge of water and returns an attack of his own.
Atracius's slash DISMEMBERS you!
Your crush DISMEMBERS Atracius!
Atracius dodges your crush.
Atracius's slash MUTILATES you!
As your wound opens, the pain jolts you!
Atracius parries your surge of water.
You parry Atracius's slice.
Atracius's slash MUTILATES you!
You dodge Atracius's slash.
Atracius is writhing in agony.

<664h 352m 692v 24095tnl 1 AM full indoor civilized none fighting> bash
Closing in, you savage Atracius's face with your teeth!
Your savage feeding *** DEVASTATES *** Atracius!
Atracius appears momentarily stunned as shock sets in!
You slam into Atracius, and send him flying!
Atracius looks visibly shaken!
Your bash hits Atracius.
Atracius is incapacitated and will slowly die, if not aided.
You can't find the opening you need to kick Atracius while he's down.
Atracius is convulsing on the ground.

Disclaimer: this is what I believe is going on without double-checking the code to confirm my hypothesis.

He lags as normal, but then something shortly thereafter abridges that lag. Yay, shig-ru!

Edit: If I'm correct, it even has an echo shown in the log.

So you're saying masochism can entirely wipe out lag? That's pretty insane.

I think so, yes. I'm not saying it does it often but if I remember correctly it either can wipe out the lag on you entirely or reduce it significantly when that particular masochism special fires.

I know everybody thinks Hack is where it's at but honestly each of the adaptations has something that makes me think "Man, how do I pass that up?"
