I was not trying to argue with you for arguements sake.
My char is obviously at bad odds with you. Your trash talking is rediculous. I can roleplay having the ability to be able to avoid you atleast.
You set me back with taking a lot of coin. The gear you stripped me of was less than 1 percent of the coin I carried when you sold it. It was health gear. You one rounded me. Now you will half round me. I've played this game for fifteen plus years and spent a week obtaining that gear.
You obviously are skilled. Can you work on your attitude. No one likes a jerk.
Just trying to help you out. No respect is given to someone who is on a high-powercombo horse.
I could easily role a necromancer and make you log out and bitch.

Posting anonymously is useless when your prose has several tells. Anyone who pays even slight attention knows who you are because you consistently misspell ridiculous and conjoin at least, among other things. This has given away your characters for years. If you want true anonymity both here and with your characters, look to your writing!

He has a friend who started a CF spin off mud, who happened to be a local friend of mine that I played D&D with, who turned me onto the spin off mud, which I played for many years, and then when Daev moved closer to me and was looking to get into some D&D games, our mutual friend sort of hooked us up to game together and things went from there. Is that confusing enough???

The thought of immortals getting it on though *cringe*. I imagine you are all 90 years old and have long ancient white beards. Women included. I can't help it. That's what immortals look like.
Then again...now that I think of it...that might be kinda hot. Never hurts to mix things up.

He originally lived in a city about an hour and a half from the city I live in. He moved at one point far far away, but ended up moving back home. He did move to my city after we'd semi long distance dated (if you call an hour and a half each way drive long distance) and we've been happily ever after since.
As far as tabletop...I know Marcatis and Reksah regularly play. Me and Daev do though less since the arrival of the Fimonster. Not too sure about everyone else.

I'm super partial to 3.5 but that's mostly what I've played. I tried a few sessions of 4.0 and thought it sucked beyond belief. Lately, we've been playing through one of the six book Pathfinder scenarios (Legacy of Fire) and I've been enjoying it. Daevryn is DM'ing. We're actually friends with and have gamed quite a bit in the past with the guy who created Pathfinder, Jason Buhlman. That man plus a bottle of Goldschlager = trouble, let me tell you.
I enjoy Call of Cthulu here and there, it's nice to have a system that's a lot less numbers driven.

Call of Cthulhu is one of the oldest non-D&D RPGs. It's a sort of investigative RPG set in a world in which creatures out of H.P. Lovecraft's stories are real.
In the world of the Cthulhu Mythos, humans are small fish in a big cosmic pond. There's lots of other intelligent creatures out there, almost all of which are more physically powerful and smarter than humans, and some which are so much greater than humanity to be like alien gods, to which humanity is antlike and inconsequential.
It's a horror game in which the PCs are very, very fragile and the amount of knowledge a character has about how the world really works serves as an upper bound to their sanity. Characters go crazy and/or die all the time.
You can set a Cthulhu game in any number of eras, but circa 1920s is pretty standard. No calling your buddy on a cell phone and warning him off when you stumble across the Black Goat with a Thousand Young.
It makes a really nice palate cleanser if you mostly (as I have) play more heroic games in which the PCs are larger than life.

I've been meaning to get into Call of Cthulu ever since I won a few of their gaming supplements (Delta Green and Secrets of Kenya) at a gaming convention a few years ago. I love the survival horror element CoC has, and want to weave it into my own DnD/PF campaigns when I get to DMing one of these days.

While yes, characters can get ridiculously powerful in there, like Ray said about CoC, Werewolves/Vamps/other expansions are kept serverly in check, because the ST can just bring about the Apocalypse when ever and there is not stopping that no matter how bad ass you are.
That said I am also a huge fan of the old Battle Tech games, before Mech Warrior ever came out on the Xbox or Computer!

The reason I mud is because another soldier who was an Imm from another mud introduced me to them. I couldn't remember the name and found CF. Overhere in Kuwait there is a nightly gathering. I can't play because of my possition but I'd like too. Those were good times!
My favorite realms were Darksun, and Forgotten realms and I enjoyed DMing as much as playing.
Shadowrun is another big favorite of mine. The concept of it really sits well with me because of my military/bounty/AD&D background.
Nothing beats late nights of chips dip salsa and copious amounts of coke and pizza.
That's kick ass you guys have a game like that in common. And yeah, babies around a dice = potential for nightmare.
