Fly and Flyto should be negated by 'bind hands' on air shifters.

Because birds have no hands, but there's no command to bind wings though it'd be perfectly possible and reasonable.

So let us bind jacked air shifters with 'bind hands' to keep them from flying away.

Of course this wouldn't prevent them from shift ram/butt...

A birds "hands" are their claws/feet. I don't see binding those as negating flying. Making takeoff more difficult maybe, but not impossible.

Besides, Bind hands is a higher level skill than bind legs.

And bindings fall off enough when combat starts that the birds don't need to be given a 'chance' to fly off. They can't flap their wings to begin with.

that a shifter can shift to another form, losing all bindings in the process.

Therefore he could then shift back into bird form and fly away afterwards.

The net effect means that I'm not sure it would be worth the coding effort (though I'd be in favor of it).

I resent that.

Yes, I can think of it. That's why I said I'd still be in favor of the change.

However, I am still not sure that imms will see it as worth coding.
