You know it's (very likely) coming. It's not a perfect system, but from my perspective it works well.
If your complaint is that on the first of the month there is an announcement that entries need to be in by the seventh and only roles that involve bunnies will be considered, it might be worth thinking about whether or not this is a calculated move by the judging IMM to pare down the entries.
For most people finding time to read seventy or so multi-page stories that vary in quality from sublime to whatthe####amireading.jpg seems like it would be something of an ordeal.
