Is it necessary for spells and sups to be entered like c 'fireball' dave? Could we get rid of the c or co and the '' and just enter fireball dave? Or also let it accept short versions such as fi dave, or fir dave. I know some people are going to say use your client to do it, but if you are on mac there aren't a lot of good client choices, and this would reduce the necessity to have a client.

All I see is a bunch of squares instead of text when I open the program. Does anyone know what is wrong?

The C is required, because you are using the cast ability. You do not have to do "fireball", all spells can be shortened, but it is an exercise for the user to determine how short they can be (and completely depends on what other skills/spells/supps/powers/etc exist that use the same prefix). For example I'll be c fae either casts faerie fire, or faerie fog, but the other one would need at least 'faerie fi' or 'faerie fo' to work.

Sounds to me like you should get a real PC then
So long, and thanks for all the fish!
