That scions cabal situation needs to actually affect thera somehow. Like when they have more items, random nightwalkers come after people in random places, etc. (obviously lvl based so you don't have something massacring a lvl 15 5x a round.) That would make the cabal's purpose a bit more relevant to Thera, etc. This is just something I think it would be cool to see, and it'd have to be when they have like 3+ cabal items, etc.

I think it'd be cool to see global affects of that sort for each cabal. For fortress, random heals/refresh etc get dished out randomly to goodies. Battle and nexus have their free magic/magic doesn't work thing. Tree strength makes all woodland creatures stronger, empire makes a bunch of additional places civilized.

People brought up things like a random heal/refresh turning the tide in a retrieval or something, but it would hardly be that sort of thing, and it's not specific to cabal members. The point is that the affects are GLOBAL, not localized to specific members. (thats what cabal powers are for)

It doesn't have to be related to the cabal item, just like the veil isn't related to it, but it would be nice to have some other purpose to doing something in the cabal other than just retrieve/defend/retrieve/defend/take/defend/retrieve/.../repeat

What does the scion cabal actually do?

Could work like this:

# of items held | effect

1| Night time lasts a couple of hours longer.
2| Night time lasts a couple of hours longer + random spawn locations of night walkers (obviously not in cabals or guilds)
3| Night time lasts even longer, night walker spawns double, still random locations. (anything beyond this and scion might be impossible to raid if users are on)
4| Empire is forced to strip naked and do the bernie.

(Edit: FWIW, I like the OP's idea and think it could work, even if only for some aesthetic effect. I mean, something very similar is done for Nexus/Battle already, if you are aware).
