>So I've always wondered about a couple quirky type situations >that might arise with certain shifters and certain edges.
Not sure why you asked me since I had nothing to do with Shifter edges, but anyway...
>If a form has the bite skill, but the bite does not normally >cause bleeding, will taking the edge that makes your bite more >likely to cause bleeding even work?
Yes, that's exactly what it's for.
>Also, along the same >veins, will choosing an edge that lets your bite silence >people work for the form that's bite doesn't normally cause >bleeding?
Yes.
>Did you envision someone stacking these edges?
Uhm...I didn't make them, but it appears they can stack.
>Does it work for only the final form or does it work for all >lower tier forms with bite?
Anything with bite.
>Another query on the same vein. Say I have grizzly bear, >which has a thick hide for deflecting blows in my skill list. >I know for a fact that ricochet skin helps that character > literally, I know for a fact ).
Well...you're wrong. Ricochet skin only helps forms that don't have some form of existing deflection.
>However, what about a form >like trapdoor spider that has a thick CARAPACE for deflecting >blows? Will ricochet skin work for that form as well?
As well as it works for grizzly bear...so not at all. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Just as an FYI to either Team Edge or Team Helpfile, but quoting the Richochet Skin helpfile:
RICOCHET SKIN (2094) A shapeshifter with this edge has a slightly increased chance of deflecting blows with their skin, hide, or carapace.
Firstly, I would assume that either Zulg or the helpfile must be wrong, since it says increasing the chance of deflecting blows.
Secondly, the helpfile seems to directly answer your question as well. Skin, hide, or carapace.

I have no qualms with anything you wrote (and you answered my questions! thank you) except for the last part.
I could have swore last time I had grizzly bear that after I took Ricochet Skin, I deflected at least 25% attacks than I did before I had the edge. I can't prove that, since I didn't log every moment, but that's what it seemed to me.
