Well, I SEEM to be doing much better. I had a trial login today, and even though the meds made me seem a bit screwy I think I will be able to get back to cf for the most part. There were complications during surgery, aside from the septoplasty/turbinite surgery they found loads of Polyps growing back in my sinuses, and had to scrape/cut all those out as well....but for the most part the surgery was a success. For any of you pondering sinus surgery....prepare for the worst experience of your damn lives. Aside from feeling like someone parked a bread truck up your nose and left it there, it comes with nausea, massive migranes that just dont let up, and the painkillers/antibiotics literally make you feel like you're underwater in a bubble. Things get very confusing very fast. I felt like a damn idiot tonight, but I had a blast doing so.

Logins will probably be short for a week or so, reading text for too long gives me massive migranes, but I'm doing my best to get back into the fields and contribute. Thx for everyones understanding in me taking the time off to get fixed, I love this game and the community, and am glad to be back.

What were the symptoms you were experiencing that led you to this?

A complete deviated septum, which means I could not breathe out of one side of my nose at all, in any way shape or form. When your septum deviates, after time, your turbinites overgrow to compensate for it, making it even more impossible to breathe. Polyps can grow on the turbinites, like little calused bubbles on them. So basically, I couldnt breathe. At all. And there was a lot of sinus pressure built up from it. Then I tried that over the counter nasal spray afrin, at 9 dollars a bottle. It helped a little at first, then made it worse. Basically at the end I was using a bottle every two days just to barely breathe, for almost a year. Cost me thousands of dollars over that year probably if you calculate it up.

DONT use afrin people, its the devils candy.

I had surgery back in October to get a joint replacement in my right hand(thank god for being a lefty). Thanks to the wonderful care of the US NAVY corpsman and doctors who diagnosed multiple broken bones as a sprained wrist/tendonitis for over a year necrosis set in yay!

I still managed to play my assassin Disori one handed for about 2 months using an elaborate series of aliases and triggers and the god almighty numpad.

I had a surgery once before, a septoplasty/full sinus construction when I was 8 years old. My sinus passages were incomplete so they built me artificial ones. Problem is, im a grown man now, and my sinus's didnt grow properly with my body. So as the years went on, my body and nasal cavaties grew, but the passages they build for me did not, and things got ALL ####ed up. I also have suffered tons and tons of broken noses over the years due to martial arts of sorts, and that didn't help. Hopefully I get all fixed up and can get on with my life, but the recovery is ass.

Ps I did me some coke when I lived in Chico a couple times, it is a hell of a drug, but since I could count the times I tried it on one hand, I doubt it had much do to with my mess of a sinus passage :p

I'd just mash the keyboard with my forehead and it would trigger my alias for "pincer 2.; call blood"

Smash forehead;
Hope for Deathblow;
Repeat

Having tampons shoved up your nose and balloons inflated up your nose when it's been broken isn't pleasant either.

Ahh, the joys of football.

Do hope it all goes well for you.

And take it easy during recovery, heart pounding CF action might not be the best thing when recovering from surgery
