#37520, "Liches and the Becoming"
|
Now I wont get into anything too questy here, but I was having a debate today with a friend, and he is under the impression that if you get all the correct lich items, and turn them into the (imm controlled) mob, that there is a 100% chance of success.
I am under the impression that even with all your items correct, and none of them counterfeit, that there is still a chance of failure nomatter what.
Immortal imput? I remember reading about Twist failing a becoming that he was fairly certain of the items on.
So with all items correct, can you still fail, or can't you?

Not only can you still fail, but the chance for failure is always significant.
The highest chance for success I can ever remember seeing is 75%, and probably most of the liches you can remember were on the lucky side of a 50/50.

I remember when I had my mummy, I could group with anyone. Now I have not played a lich, but I have heard they cannot group at all with anyone. Then I have heard that liches can only group with other spectres/necromancers, and could join a group through them.
So I guess the question is, is there any situation under a lich would still be allowed in a group.
And if no, (sorry the hell junkie in me has to ask) It would be physically impossible for a lich to go all the way through hell, correct?
(also, was the mummy grouping thing a bug? was that fixed?)

Obviously i know a great deal about undead, because ive PLAYED one. And i'm well known in cf for my ability to explore and work out things other people can't work out.
As far as asking questions, on the GAMEPLAY board, that is what this is for. If my answers are too questy the imms can just not reply, or reply in kind like he did, which is fine. I'm not sure what you even meant by posting. Are you whining I asked a question on the gameplay forum?
Not sure what your point in this whole post is, actually.
