#37358, "Applicant status"
|
I recently had the unfortunate incident when I was trying to assist a fellow villager and a fellow bardic one at that. It appears that my agressive songs affect him and vice versa and we ended up in a locked room due to a necromancer, ungrouped, and the songs started us fighting and he ultimately died even though I was quite happy to do so. This caused him to be very pissed, which I can understand but hope he is grown up enough to let it slide and realise it was an unfortunate mechanics issue.
My concern now, however, is that if I go to defend the giant as a bard applicant, do I need to defend as a nerf'd warrior because my offensive songs will be aggro to the giant too?
If so, could this be changed to mimic how the songs work once you are inducted?
Thanks for reading.

This is no different for any other class with area skills/spells that is an applicant. The point is, you are an applicant, not a member of the cabal (I've seen a few bard bloodoaths get anath'd for this, and I'm okay with that). So long, and thanks for all the fish!
