I believe your healing rate is negatively affected by hunger/thirst before you get a message about being hungry/thirsty. This seems most noticeable on rangers. Your healing rate drops, but you can only see that you are hungry/thirsty in score.

I believe, and have for some time, that you will parry better with a dual wielded weapon and no mainhand weapon, than if you have a mainhand weapon and no offhand. It seems as if you parry more with your dual wielded weapon than with your main weapon, which seems wrong. I could be mistaken about this, but it should be fairly easy to test. I'll make no assumptions about the ease/hardness of fixing it.

This is false. The message shows up at the exact time it starts affecting your healing rates for both hunger & thirst.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

I feel like I've gotten hungry/thirsty messages one tick and not the next as a ranger, but I can't be positive.

I'm regenerating horribly at the point of being slightly thirsty/hungry which is before the echos start happening.

I'm talking less than 30 hp a tick for a fast healing high con build.

it seemed like my regen dropped by about half. Worse, of course, if you got the echoes about being hungry.

I began eating and drinking before sleeping out of habit, but didn't think it was a bug.

I don't recall ever having to do that in the past (eat and drink as frequently) to make sure regen was tolerable.
