#37103, "Suggestions for new flaws"
|
I was thinking that it might be interesting if magi could choose a flaw that prevents them using one (or more) of abs.
e.g. Barrier intolerance: The wards of barrier magic cause unbearable pain when you invoke them upon yourself.
As a suggestion, perhaps the bonus edge points you get from any intolerance are equivalent to what would be required to purchase a second source for that kind of magic. (i.e. in this case, the same points as would be required to pick barrier attunement, except you can't get that edge if you chose this flaw).
Maybe not many people would choose to play such a character, but I think it would be an interesting challenge for some (but still incentivised by some edge points in return).

#37144, "And a suggested edge"

Not sure what you'd call it, but I was thinking maybe an edge that tells people who a mob is tracking (if it is tracking someone).
Would be useful both for groups trying to regroup against a mob, and also for predators trying to locate someone.
Also, it would enable some tactical defense if someone found a mob and knew they could pull back to its side when in combat with whomever it had been tracking.
