I brought this up while I was playing my Nexus mage, and it basicallyed got ignored by the imms. Why is the water portion of the Sea of Despair in 3 seperate areas? Part of it is in the Ashes of Nowhere, a different section of it is the Ysigrath and the third section of the water counts as part of that mountain path that is by Dagdan. Just seems a bit odd, and it really nerfed being a water focus shifter in Nexus

That's the way the areas were written. I won't say it will never change, but it's more of my time than it's worth to me to change it.

Was written by a player named Ally back in the first age. I remember this, because she asked me for some ideas for some things to put in the area. The area has been in the game for a lot longer than some areas, so it's been around for more revamps of areas, and each time it changes a bit. I think there have been 3 FON changes alone since the area went live way back in like 95 or 96.

None of this is relevant really, I was just sharing a bit of CF trivia, some people may not be aware of.

The "original" Sea of Despair was 5 rooms in the first Forest of NoWhere area that I wrote. Basically the 5 rooms that are west, northwest, north, northeast, and east of the dock now.

The Sea of Despair area that is due north of that (that connects to Nexus) came quite a bit later.

Almost as much I seem to keep missing Twist online!

What ever happened to that "Black Knight" character that was randomly "up" along that main path in FoN? I miss him.

that was sort of a "I think X is missing from CF" and so I'll throw it in. I figured there weren't any "holy avenger" ish evil weapons out there, so I threw in an avg 21 (23?) evil only polearm and naturally who would be wielding such but a level 40ish black knight?

Who was aggro.

In an area meant for all levels to gain xp.
