This effort cleared up a huge backlog of missing helps. Every edge that anyone could possibly get now have helpfiles. Every cabal power now has a helpfile. A bunch of updated data in some of the more important helpfiles.

This applies only to PC corpses, correct? I made a test character and was able to loot mobs. Maybe just tweak it to say:
A character with this flaw is unwilling or unable to touch PC corpses other than their own. This includes butchering, carving, skinning, or looting them.

This is just my opinion, but wouldn't the sentence flow better if the order was:

Hmmm Dang, I didn't realize they got Zeal..... I totally missed it. As a shifter, I don't know, Part of me wants to be able to keep my protections up in combat, but Yeah, I guess I would like the +Dam too. Now I'm torn. Don't change it now I guess, I'll give more feedback when I'm done then.

Given that dispeling realy hurts a shifter a lot and the plus hit/dam does not appear to have much of an influence on the damage done by the shifter forms.
Before the revamp they did and things like ignite were awesome to boost your shifter but after revamp it appears to influence only a tiny bit so I, personally, would prefer the Aegis.
Is it possible for a choice to be given to shifter mages like battle do with battle scout/berserker/defender?

I mean it shows up on stats but even when I was throwing an extra 30 dam on forms I wasn't getting any noticeable boost in what I was doing. (12 from frenzy prep and 18 from stacked ignites)

For example...mongoose:
Hitroll : 26(31 ) Damroll : 8(19 )
Spell: 'frenzy' modifies armor class by 55 for 22 hours.
Spell: 'frenzy' modifies hit roll by 5 for 22 hours.
Spell: 'frenzy' modifies damage roll by 11 for 22 hours.
Which DOES affect them, and quite visibly. If you're playing an offense shifter, it's probably not helping that much since your damroll is already quite high (percentage gain vs. a defense shifter).

Is this (the diminishing returns like effect on +damroll) specific to shifters, or damroll in general?
I always though damroll was as simple as the more you can pack on, the harder you'll hit, and that basically double the damroll meant double the damage (or rather, double the damage provided by damroll, minus weapon avg, strength, etc.)
PS: I'm not sure I explained that well.

That the % gains vs the overall number decrease.
That is to say 10 dam matters less to someone with 100 dam vs someone with 10 dam.
Why? Because with 100 dam its a 10% increase, with 10 dam its a 100% increase in damage. (You know, because its now 20 dam?)
That is all he was saying.

it was a few months ago but i remember experimenting with my first and second forms where an extra 30 dam would be a sizeable damage boost percentage wise and not seeing anything noticeable in terms of damage noun change.
I mean the system is set up to discriminate between dam from gear and dam from affects so it would not be at all surprising for score to show a damage increase and mechanically there not be one because of whatever causes gear + dam to be ingnored.
I could be wrong but I made my offense/offense felar evil outlander shifter specifically to try and leverage + dam from affects into greater damage output and I did not notice much difference even in idea circumstances (beefed up druid frenzy, aristea, feral growl, tripple stacked ignite, bestial fury)

If it shows up in score it counts during combat. They use the exact same function.

IE When I had mongoose, with crimson dragonscale sleeves + bless + a couple other +dam/+hit affects it was a noticable difference. Like from hitting 2 maims a round to hitting 2-3 MUTILATES/EVISCERATES a round.
Much less so for my lion or my grizzly bear shifters. That's where I wish I got executioner's grace with my lion...we can dream can't we?

What you are seeing is the lack of enhanced damage + an over expectation of what the + dam will give you
Even with the situation you are talking about. Thats only about 30 more dam. Which is a noun. Unless you are one of the really hard hitting forms. Then it may not even change nouns. Why you ask?
Because the ***DEM and ***DEV range are quite large, over 100 hps in damage range each. So if you are doing a low end ***DEV and do an additional 30 damage it is still a ***DEV just one that does 30 more damage than before.

I find that the added hit and dam from Zeal is often not as helpful as Aegis would be for many casting/communing classes. I can't count the number of times I lost all my protections from a dispel or two, with my last Paladin, forcing me to run to recast almost instantly.
Reading over the post, I kinda like the idea of being able to Spec one or the other. I know it isn't likely to change but I like it never the less. Could be huge for communers who rely on casting over melee.

I like this layout of the help files for the cabals. Can I make one request that the immortals for each cabal be listed in the help file like the Tribunal help file?
Oh and if the players don't say it enough, thank you for all the work you do like this!
