While our favorite game is down for a spell, just a quick question for the players and imms alike:
Which player do you most look up to and why?
(Let's try to keep the thread positive, please.)

Twist's mortals always seem to be classy and fun to fight against or with.
Daevryn and Zulg for their Imm awesomeness. <3

I'd go with Minyar (i think that is who it was) mainly just because of playing with him when he was Lornis when I was a playing my first bard and first scion, and he gave me the time of day and taught me a lot and made me really appreciate CF enough that I still play and try to do for others what he did for me. I always saw positives from him, in both RP and PK and his game knowledge made me realize how little I knew.
He would be followed closely by Ysaloerye, who taught me really how to get into RP when I had thendrell and pretty much got me wanting to keep coming back with another character.
And lastly whoever played Zizzle. My first char ever had lots of fun with that guy, and so did Thendrell actually. He was just a blast.

Thanks for saying something about Lornis. Lornis was definitely one of my favorite chars and your bard made Lornis' time on CF more fun. It was cool to have you come around and join up with Scion. Lornis obviously had some dark intentions toward you, but you always played along well and it gave me more RP fuel with Mergulla.
Thanks for being a solid IC companion.

Scarabaeus raised the bar for every Immortal with the areas and concepts he introduced to CF, and his level of intelligence in his roleplay is way above the standard interaction. He'll interact through mobs, find you outside his shrine, and generally plays the "immortal" side a lot different than others that makes it extremely enjoyable to interact with. And honestly, he's not a prick, IC and OOC, like a lot of the older immortals. There's a reason a lot of "scarabites" go back for more. I'm glad he's back.
Mekantos took approaches to things in CF that I never could muster up to do. He played any side (including Fortress *ugh*) and was an extremely good roleplayer along with a solid pker - he even immorted but it sucked the fun out of the game for him I believe. Over the years he's stuck around even though he isn't playing and chimes in on a community we've both been apart of for over a decade. He's also one of my best friends.
Oh and Eskelian - for an awesome post below that still no Immortal has responded to.

I will preface this as many of them were (or currently) Immortals. Though their RP/PK tallents is what got them there to begin with.
First and foremost the player I had always looked up to was Twist. His characters have an awesome blend of both RP and PK, and usualy just make you want to try that much harder when interacting. Very very skilled and "elite"if you will, while not having the feeling of a power gamer.
Second was Balrahd. I've played many a maran and goodies over the years and this man was a beast. He was very knowledgeable on the diffrent aspects of the Maran and wasnt set in stone on what it had to be. He was a great leader without having to be that iron fist to get people to do as they wished.

For some reason Lachadan or however it's spelled and Taceloes stick with me as really cool RP characters before RP was as required. Or maybe's just my huge man crush on him.

... They both have awesome RP and are good at PK. I still remember Drycurus like it was yesterday and our interaction as I played Amberion. Awesome stuff. Always shoot first and then call whatever you hit the target.

Balrahd because all his serious chars have presence, are tough as ####, and well roleplayed.
Jaguab just because he's a pimp.

One of the few players I still have respect for is Illiet. He at least admits to how he plays the game. Everyone else has their heads up their asses, from what I can tell.
No, I'm not Russian either. I've just been on muds with that guy (and Shapa for that matter) for a ridiculous amount of time, and he's never really changed.
